Privacy Policy

Sample policy — review the operator details, enabled services and applicable requirements before public launch.

1. About UVO Drive

UVO Drive is a video streaming service operated under the Prime AI Technologies brand. This policy describes how information is handled through our website and mobile applications. The service can include movies, TV shows and episodes, live TV, short dramas and other videos, with free viewing, subscriptions, rentals or pay-per-view access where offered.

For privacy questions or requests, contact driveuvo@gmail.com.

2. Account and sign-in information

When you choose Google Sign-In, we receive the account identifier, verified email address, name and profile image made available by Google. We verify the identity token to authenticate you and associate your account with your UVO Drive profile. We do not receive your Google password. Viewer sign-in does not request access to your Gmail inbox or Google Drive files.

Email sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email address. We process your email address, code verification attempts and session information to provide this feature and prevent abuse. Codes expire, are stored in hashed form for verification and cannot be used indefinitely. You may need to sign in again when your session ends. Never send a password or one-time code to support.

We also process information you choose to add, such as a profile name or picture, account preferences and support messages.

3. Viewing, profile and device information

Depending on the features you use, we process:

  • Profiles, child-profile settings, parental controls, language preferences and device or session records.
  • Watchlists, viewing history, playback progress, searches, ratings, reviews, favourite channels and content interactions.
  • Subscription entitlements, rentals, pay-per-view purchases, invoices and transaction references.
  • IP addresses, browser or app version, device information, playback requests, error reports and security logs.

This information supports playback, continue-watching features, recommendations, account protection, support and service improvement. Reviews or profile details you publish through a public feature may be visible to other users.

4. Cookies, local storage and optional permissions

The website and apps use cookies, local storage or similar device storage for sign-in sessions, security, preferences and playback features. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in or other functions from working.

Some app features may request device permissions when relevant: photos or camera access for a profile image, microphone access for voice search, notifications for alerts, storage or media access for permitted downloads, and local-network or device discovery for casting. Use your device settings to review or withdraw permissions. Declining a permission can limit the feature that needs it.

5. Payments and purchases

If you make a purchase, an enabled payment gateway, app store or purchase-management provider processes the payment. These may include Stripe, Razorpay or other gateways offered at checkout, Google Play, Apple's App Store and RevenueCat where integrated. We receive information needed to confirm purchases, manage access, provide invoices and handle support, such as a transaction identifier, amount, currency, status and subscription entitlement. Payment providers handle the payment details you submit according to their own policies.

6. Cloud-hosted videos and owner connections

Videos may be delivered from our hosting or from providers such as Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and Dropbox. A playback request can disclose your IP address, device or browser information and the requested media resource to the provider delivering it. Providers may apply their own cookies, logs, quotas and privacy practices.

Cloud owner connections are separate from viewer sign-in. An authorised administrator can connect an owner account and assign it to particular videos. For Google Drive, this connection requests read-only Drive permission to retrieve media information and stream authorised video files. Provider permissions can differ; an owner should review the provider's consent screen before connecting. OAuth credentials and tokens saved for these connections are encrypted in our database and are used by the server to access the assigned media. They are not displayed to viewers.

We use Google account and Drive data to provide the sign-in and connected-video features described here. We do not sell Google API data or use connected Drive file data for advertising. An administrator can disable a connection through the admin panel, and an owner can revoke access using the provider's account controls. Revocation can make related videos unavailable; previously issued playback URLs may remain valid until the provider expires them.

7. Firebase, diagnostics, notifications and advertising

Where enabled in a particular app version or deployment, Firebase services can support authentication, push messaging, analytics, crash reporting or remote configuration. These services may process account identifiers, installation or messaging tokens, device information, app events and diagnostics appropriate to the enabled feature. Push notifications also depend on your device permission and settings.

Where advertising is enabled, the service may show Google Mobile Ads or video advertising supplied through configured VAST providers. Advertising partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP addresses, ad interactions and related information under their own policies and applicable settings. Available choices depend on your device, region and the provider or consent controls presented to you. Google Sign-In does not grant access to your Gmail inbox or Drive files for advertising.

For provider details, see Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.

8. Why we use and share information

We use information to operate the service, authenticate accounts, deliver media, manage purchases and profiles, prevent abuse, communicate service information and respond to requests. Where a legal basis is required, it depends on the purpose and applicable law, including providing the requested service, meeting legal obligations, protecting legitimate service interests or obtaining consent where required.

Information may be shared with hosting, cloud-media, authentication, email-delivery, payment, notification, analytics, diagnostics, advertising and support providers as relevant to the features being used. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, valid legal requests, security investigations or protection of rights. Any business transfer involving personal information must remain subject to applicable requirements. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live.

9. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing an active account, fulfilling purchases, handling support or disputes, preventing fraud and meeting applicable recordkeeping requirements. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason for keeping it. Security records, transaction records and backups can remain after an account is closed. Copies in backup systems may persist until those systems' retention cycles complete.

We use access controls and other security measures appropriate to the service, including encrypted storage for saved cloud-owner credentials and hashed email verification codes. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and account deletion

You can manage available profile and account preferences in the service, manage browser storage and device permissions, and review third-party account permissions with the relevant provider. Revoking Google access does not itself submit a UVO Drive account-deletion request.

To request deletion, use Account Settings → Delete Account where available in your app version, or email driveuvo@gmail.com with the subject Delete Account. Send the request from your registered email address and identify the UVO Drive account to be deleted. You can use the email route even if you cannot sign in. We may need proportionate identity checks before acting; we will never ask for your Google password or a sign-in code.

We will review the request and explain any information that must be retained for transaction records, security, disputes or legal obligations. Deletion is not a promise that every record and backup is erased immediately. Deleting an account does not necessarily cancel an app-store subscription; manage that subscription through the store as well.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant authority. Contact us to make a request or ask what applies to you.

11. Children and family profiles

Account holders must meet the eligibility requirements applicable where they live. A parent or guardian is responsible for supervising a child's use and for complying with local requirements. Child profiles, content ratings and parental controls help families manage viewing; they do not replace adult supervision or guarantee that every title is suitable. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the required permission, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the service or its information practices change. The date above identifies this version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek consent before a material change takes effect. Contact driveuvo@gmail.com for privacy, account or deletion assistance.
